Largest file size ps3 can play

Uncharted 3, requiring 40gb to download, then around an additional 40gb to install before you can delete the download. Haven't upgraded the hdd yet, but I'm sorely tempted. So it'd take me all day to download and play a launch day title. I don't see the benefit of that. Storage space isnt an issue for me.. I really dont care how much install space is taken up at this point. I mean when you sit there watching Snake smoke cigs the whole time This went on after every chapter.

I just looked on my console to see if these file sizes were right. Worst offender is Resistence 3, try to delete the game data, it takes like an hour. Sorry to bring the xbox one in here but we are talking HD and massive installs right?

So every game on the XBone will have to be completely installed and require the disc to just sit there in the drive right. How big are next gen games going to be? I can't imagine gb being enough for a console like that, good thing for external HD on the Xbone, too bad it won't take any internal HD's, unlike the other next gen console I AM buying. Eoin 8 years ago 8 The only size limit is based on what you can buy that will physically sit inside the PS3 you can even use a cable that goes into the PS3 and connects to an external drive, but this isn't a good idea. What are your unpopular PS3 opinions? What's your current do playing?
